If this were a real website for The Mountain Retreat, we would welcome you to our lovely mountain home. Not really situated in New South Wales' rugged Blue Mountains, just a stone's throw from several national parks and amazing mountain views, our retreat is set amongst mountains that touch the sky and rivers that soothe the soul. On the right side of this page, you can see our exact location using a GoogleMaps plugin that demonstrates just how remote and rustic our location is.
Get Away From It All. . .
Remote mountains with very few people around and civilisation but a distant memory. Rustic furnishings of wood, stone and brass - no steel and glass to be found here. Broad fireplaces, plush beds and thick blankets, with home cooked meals from our resident chef make The Mountain Retreat a perfect place to escape the world and forget your cares. The pictures below are all taken from locations just minutes from your self-sufficient cabin. Every cabin has full mountain views from both external verandahs and a short hike down to our dock will take you to the amazing river views you see in the embedded image gallery below.
